You’ll need an extension cable if you want to get under the hood while the scanner is plugged in. ![]() The 32-inch cable on the EDiag YA-101 isn’t long enough to reach the engine bay. It also can’t tell you what to fix or what to buy instead. This scanner has a colour screen and a pretty easy-to-use interface, but it can’t graph data and can’t turn off the oil-change light.
